Christmas Audition

Thursday, October 23 – 6:00pm
Come audition for drama, dance, drumming, etc. to be a part of bringing the story of Christmas alive.

Living Hope Trunk or Treat

Friday, October 24 – 6-8pm
Trunk or Treat is a community outreach for our surrounding neighbors and friends of LHC. Children from the community and from the LHC family can enjoy visiting the various cars and stations to receive candy. You are welcomed to dress up yourself and your trunk in a friendly, seasonal way. Please bring 250 pieces of wrapped candy and a happy warm welcome! Invite your friends and neighbors! There will be a contest for the most creative trunks decorated! Car sign up is in the foyer.
If you are able to help in the following areas, please contact the church office; hosting a trunk, donating candy, hot chocolate packets/cans or individually wrapped bags of pretzels or carnival game attendant.

SEL Station Ladies Prayer Group

Saturday, October 25 – 8:00 am – Noon
Spiritual Energy Loading, SEL Station is a ladies prayer group and fellowship that meets at Living Hope Church the last Saturday of each month. We follow the ACTS theme (Adoration, Confession, Thanksgiving and Supplication). If you have a need to be prayed for, we will pray with you. A children’s prayer ministry is part of this prayer group, called PACK (Prepare all Children for the Kingdom). All women are welcome!

Frank ‘N Stan Movie Premiere

Sunday, October 26 – 6:30 pm
Frontline Films presents Frank ‘N Stan at Elk Grove Classic Cinemas, 1050 Elk Grove Town Center. No ticket needed. Free Movie Premiere for students, 7th-12th grade. Tons of giveaways.

Mega Living Choir Rehearsal

Thursday, October 30 – 5:30pm
The Mega Living Choir will be singing for the four Christmas services on December 21st. Rehearsals will begin on October 30th at 5:30pm. We need you to join us in making this year’s celebration mega special. See you there!

Reviving Hope

Thursday, November 6 – 7:00 pm
Join us this month for a candy making demonstration and a special testimony from Christine Swallow. This will be our last meeting until February.

Reviving Hope is a ladies Bible study and fellowship open to all women age 18 and above that meets on the first Thursday of each month. Join us ladies as we learn fun things together, share from God’s Word, fellowship and grow together. Join us this month for a candy making demonstration and a special testimony from Christine Swallow. Ladies, this will be our last meeting until February.

Water Baptism & Classes

Sunday, November 16
Celebrate your commitment to Christ by being water baptized, fully immersed in the baptistery tank, during our Sunday morning service on Sunday, November 16. Water Baptism Classes will be held on Tuesdays October 28 and November 4. Please be prepared to attend both classes.

Thanksgiving Service – Operation Give Thanks

Sunday, November 23 – 6:00 pm
This will be a time of worship and a time of sharing what God is doing in and through our lives. There will be refreshments and time to fellowship after the service in common grounds. Don’t miss this opportunity to complete your mission in giving thanks to the Lord for sustaining us through another year! Childcare available infant – 5 years. Please note we will be having our normal morning worship services at 9 & 10:30am as well.

Ladies Christmas Tea

Ladies, come enjoy a night of food and fellowship during the Christmas Season. This is the perfect event to invite friends and neighbors. Christmas Services – To Have Been There!

Sunday, December 21– 9:00 & 11:00 am, nursery & preschool available. 5:00 & 7:00 pm, childcare available infant – 5 years. We will have four services available for you, your friends, and your family on December 21. These services will be full of excitement, drama, worship, drum lines, dancers, and more. We want you to use this as an opportunity to reach out to those around you and get them to hear the true story of Christmas. Be sure to RSVP for the service you will be attending so that we know you are coming. Looking forward to seeing you there!

LHC Moms’ Group Bible Study

Wednesdays Going On Now – 9:30-11:30 am
Our LHC Wednesday morning Moms’ Group Fall study will be based on the book “Desperate: Hope for the Mom who Needs to Breathe” by Mae & Clarkson. Sign up in the church foyer. Meets weekly on Wednesday mornings. Childcare will be provided. (donations accepted)

You can also join us on Thursday evenings from 6:30-8:30pm, childcare provided. Dates: Nov 20, Dec 18, Jan 15, Feb 19, March 19, April 16, May 21.
