Come explore the Richardson Farm corn maze in the dark! Roast hot dogs and marshmallows around a camp fire and slide down a 50′ slide!

Living Hope Trunk or Treat

Friday, October 27 – 6:00-8:30 pm
Trunk or Treat is a community outreach for our surrounding neighbors and friends of LHC. Children from the community and from the LHC family can enjoy visiting the various cars and stations to receive candy. You are welcomed to dress up yourself and your trunk in a friendly, seasonal way. Please bring 500 pieces of wrapped candy and a happy warm welcome! Invite your friends and neighbors! There will be a contest for the most creative trunks decorated! Stop by the foyer for car sign ups!
If you are able to help in the following areas, please contact the church office; hosting a trunk, carnival attendant, or donating candy, hot chocolate packets/cans or individually wrapped bags of pretzels.

Discover Us part 1 is on October 29 and part 2 on November 5. Sign up below or contact our church office to be a part of the class.

Come find out more about Living Hope Church including what we believe, our history, the ministries we offer and the ways you can get involved. This class also explains, and lays the foundation for membership at LHC.  In this class you will experience a brief history of Living Hope, our vision for our church, our important statements, core values, and beliefs and what we believe the Bible tells us it means to be a part of a local church.

Water Baptism Class

Wednesday, November 1 – 7:00 pm
Celebrate your commitment to Christ by being water baptized, fully immersed in the baptistery tank, during our Sunday morning service on Sunday, November 19. Register here for the Water Baptism Class taking place on Wednesday, November 1 at 7:00pm. This class is a prerequisite to being baptized.


Friday, November 3 – 6:00 pm
Join us for a special AMPLIFY night of entertainment and fun featuring illusionist Tim Hannig. Tim has a passion for encouraging kids to make good choices that reflect positive character qualities.

Cost is $5 and includes a sandwich from Chick-fil-A. Purchase your tickets here or stop by KickTown. Kids under age two are free. All families are invited.

Starting Point

Sunday, November 12 – 11:45am
If you have recently started attending Living Hope Church we invite you to join us for Starting Point. Our leadership team will be hosting this thirty-minute gathering that will be a practical introduction to our church and team. Please register to let us know you are coming. Refreshments will be served.

Basic: We Are Church/Who is God?

Thursdays, now through November 16 – 7:00-8:30 pm
Teacher: Mike Gates
BASIC is a 7-part series that challenges us to reclaim the church as Scripture describes it to be. This series speaks to those who have questions about the church, what it is really all about and what the authentic Christian life looks like.

Childcare available upon request.

Food Drive

October 1 thru October 30
Living Hope Church is participating in the annual Interfaith Council Food Drive. The food drive is scheduled to run from October 1st through the 30th. Please drop off items in the church entrance way. Thank you for your continued support.

Partner with us to help provide South Chicago Christian Center with coats, blankets, hats, gloves, scarves and warm winter gear. New and gently used items of all sizes welcomed. Collection bin in Common Grounds through December 1.

LHC Moms’ Group

Wednesdays, now through May 9 – 9:30-11:30 am
Moms of all ages, join us on Wednesday mornings to study God’s Word and share our experiences as moms. We are studying the book, “Raising Kingdom Kids” by Tony Evans. Childcare is provided.

GriefShare Support Group

Wednesdays, October 25 through January 31 – 7:00 pm
GriefShare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. You don’t have to go through the grieving process alone.
This is a 13 week class. Cost for materials is $20 (assistance is available if needed).
