One Hope Ministry Benefit Dinner

Saturday, November 18 – 5:00 pm at Living Hope Church
Hope Center in Antigua, Guatemala, is a Christian home for underprivileged girls, run and founded by our missionaries, John and Judy Prim. Your support provides for the education and for the discipleship these girls receive to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ to affect their world.
Join us on November 18 for the 10th Annual Benefit Dinner including a silent auction and raffle. Tickets will be available for purchase on Sunday morning. Ticket cost $25/person. Table reservations are available for parties of 8.

Thanksgiving Service

Sunday, November 19 – 6:00 pm
Come and join us in remembering with thankfulness all that the Lord has done for us in 2017. Do not let your family miss this time of corporate praise and thanksgiving. See you there!
Childcare available infant – 5 years. Please note we will be having our normal morning worship services at 9:00 & 10:30 am as well.

Church Office Holiday Schedule

Office closes at noon on Wednesday, November 22.
Office is closed on Thanksgiving Day, Friday, November 24, Monday, December 25, and on New Year’s Day.


Partner with us to help provide South Chicago Christian Center with coats, blankets, hats, gloves, scarves and warm winter gear. New and gently used items of all sizes welcomed. Collection bin is in Common Grounds through December 1.


Unwrapped Project Illuminate gifts are due Sunday, December 3.
Partner with our Family Ministry this holiday season through Project Illuminate. Project Illuminate helps local families in need. Gift suggestions are available in the foyer. New ornaments are being added each week. Stop by our display to pick up an ornament and bless a child this Christmas season.

Women’s Christmas Tea

Thursday, December 7 – 7:00 pm, doors open at 6:30pm
Come enjoy a night of food and fellowship during the Christmas Season. This is the perfect event to invite friends and neighbors. Our speaker is Sonia Hadley. Spaces are limited. Appetizers and desserts will be served. Sign up and purchase your tickets in the foyer. Cost $10/each.

AMPLIFY Christmas – Gingerbread Nativity

Friday, December 8 – 6:00 pm
Saturday, December 9 – 10:00 am

All families are invited to join us on Friday, December 8 at 6:00 pm, and Saturday, December 9 at 10:00 am for a Gingerbread Nativity Family & Friends Night. Dinner will be served on Friday night and a light breakfast will be served on Saturday morning. Please register for the time slot preferred.
Cost is $15 per family and includes refreshments and ONE gingerbread nativity kit. If you desire more than ONE kit, please specify under “Additional Kits”. Deadline to register is December 1.

Starting Point

Our leadership team will be hosting this thirty minute gathering that will be a practical introduction to our church and team. Please register to let us know you are coming. GriefShare Support Group

Wednesdays, through January 31 – 7:00 pm
GriefShare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. You don’t have to go through the grieving process alone.
Cost for materials is $20 (assistance is available if needed).

Frontline Blast 2018

Join over 1000 students at the Kalahari in Wisconsin Dells, WI for Blast 2018! Spend your days with full access to the Kalahari indoor water park and theme park (theme park additional cost). Take a day trip to Cascade Mountain for skiing and snowboarding. Then join in worship and hear engaging messages each night. Get to know other Frontline students and leaders as we stay in our own area of the Kalahari and spend small group time together after each message. Have a great time with friends and experience God!

LHC Moms’ Group

Wednesdays, now through May 9 – 9:45-11:45 am
Moms of all ages, join us on Wednesday mornings to study God’s Word and share our experiences as moms. We are studying the book, “Raising Kingdom Kids” by Tony Evans. Childcare is provided.
