Basic: We Are Church
Thursdays 7-8:30pm beginning April 27
Teacher: Mike Gates
BASIC is a 7-part series of short films that challenges us to reclaim the church as Scripture describes it to be. This series speaks to those who have questions about the church and to those who may have lost interest in the church.
If we only had the Bible and no influence from anything else. No past church experience. No religious understandings. We had never seen or heard of church but after reading the Bible only and we decided to start one – what would it be like? That is what this study is all about. What is the church – really!
Trends come and go in our culture and the church seems to follow.
What is church?
You are church.
I am church.
We are church.
Childcare available upon request.

Guatemala Team Fundraiser-One Hope Ministries
The Uncluttering Event happens on Saturday, May 13 – 8:00am – 1:00pm
Bring your gently used clothing, bedding, towels and small household items to help us raise funds for One Hope Ministires. Your home gets uncluttered and One Hope is able to provide education for girls in Guatemala.
We will only be collecting your donated items at this event. Savers will be paying One Hope Ministries by the pound for the donated items. Our goal is to collect 5,000 pounds, so we need your help.
If you can’t wait that long, bring your donations on April 23, 30, or May 7 (not on Easter Sunday) between services (10-10:30am) to the garage. Do not bring them to the church.
All items donated must be in good, clean and sellable condition. Items that may be donated: clothing, shoes, bedding, towels, backpacks, purses, wallets, hats, mittens, scarves, ties, jewelry, toys, games, kitchen items, knick knacks, small kitchen appliances, sporting goods (balls, bats, tennis rackets, baseball gloves). Savers will NOT allow us to accept large items, auto parts, building materials, cleaning products, hazardous materials, flammable products, paint and painting supplies, pesticides or tires.
One Hope Ministries is a 401(c)3 not for profit. You will receive a receipt for your donation.
Thank you for your support!
